One in a Thousand: Clover Book
Go back to your youth and rediscover the joy of searching for a four-leaf clover in your grandma's garden.
What awaits you
- Find the four-leaf clover hidden in a patch full of clovers, in an almost realistic environment (~1 in 2,500 chance in-game vs ~1 in 5,000 in real life).
- Discover 10 authentic leaflet patterns and shapes inspired by real wild clovers found in grass patches around Piedmont (Italy).
- Keep a collection book that tracks every four-leaf clovers you find, and uncover new notes as you progress — botanical curiosities, inspirational quotes, and gameplay hints.
- It's not just luck. Learn strategies to improve your chances of spotting four-leaf clovers that can carry over into finding real four-leaf clovers (if you do, feel free to share a photo in the comments, along with the area where you found it, if you're comfortable).
- If you're extra lucky, you might find the elusive five-leaf clover (if you do, feel free to share a collection screenshot in the comments).
- Change clover patch at any time if you're feeling stuck (but don't give up, you might be closer than you think).
- Stumble upon ladybugs hidden under the clovers; they may nudge you toward what you're really looking for (but you can also explore without them for a more true-to-life challenge).
- All assets are made by me (except for the fonts: Dufante and OpenDyslexic).
- Full support for touch devices and touchpads so you can play anywhere (let me know if something doesn't work, as browser and OS support may vary).

this is nice and meditative experience. I think it would be a perfect place for a narrator telling some stories and be surprised and slightly annoyed when you interrupt him by finding a clover! I’d be interested in writing music or VO ｡◕‿◕｡
Thank you! I did consider a more story-focused approach, but ultimately chose a lighter touch, using notes in the collection book instead. The narrator idea is interesting!

I was previously unaware that I even could give an award for "Best Concept and Execution of a Game that I Have Ragequit and Will Never Play Again" and yet here we are! This game is lovely and clever and well designed and I cannot possibly play it again.
